I just used this mat for the first time today at my yoga class. It has no traction at all, and pieces of the mat started coming off on my hands. It was miserable doing any of my yoga poses because both my hands and feet kept slipping. My advice - get a normal, standard yoga mat. The patterns/ripples on this one don't help with any traction. I know the pink and orange is super cute, but don't fall for it! Also, it's short.
