This mat is comfortably thick and reasonably durable. I purchased it at a discount store and used it for about a year for home yoga practice. It held up fine. But I could never use it for any vigorous practice. It completely lacks the stickiness that you find on a good yoga mat, even after long-term use. If you do any power yoga or any form of yoga that will make you sweat, you cannot count on this mat to do anything keep your hands and feet in place.
