I bought this mat because I was tired of replacing my mat every few years and this one comes with a lifetime guarantee; I'm disappointed to say that I don't love it. Another reviewer said that they found this mat excellent for Ashtanga practice, and I can see why this is the case- it's very solid and rarely bunches or moves during flow practices. However, I do mostly Hatha and Yin, and find it to be a lot harder (i.e. less cushioned) than other mats, which is particularly noticeable with a Yin practice. In addition, it really is quite heavy, which is nuisance if you're carrying it any distance. I'd recommend thinking carefully about your own type of practice, and if possible, checking it out in person, before investing in this mat.
