I am a 200 lb. guy who has been practicing hot yoga for the past year...I finally decided to step up and beyond my $7 mat and beach towel as I sweat profusely and both mat and beach towel are soaking wet about 20 minutes into my practice. I first bought a Yogitoes cuz it looked plush and absorbent...but, not so Mr. Smith. Not sure why this tan version is discounted but I tried it tonight and it worked gangbusters! I was in a power flow class which guarantees extra sweat but there were actually still dry areas out the outer edges. I like how long it is also. But, to some other comments...it does almost seem like a rug and I had some slight slippage for a bit but suspect I will get used to it.
