I don't use my mat strictly for yoga, I use it for a number of other exercises to improve flexibility. These are exercises prescribed by my Doctor. My criteria for for the mat was that it was to be portable, provide enough padding I didn't feel like I was sitting on a concrete floor and wiped off easily. This mat is perfect. I especially like the size and the color is pretty good too. I'd recommend this mat to anyone who wanted a nice light mat and didn't want to spend an arm and a leg.
