After reading the review regarding sensitivities and the Jade yoga mat I wanted to add some thoughts. I am a yoga instructor and teach about 10 classes per week I love my 3 year old Jade yoga mat. It does smell different at first. One thing I have done to get rid of the smell is to wash my mat in the washer and hang it over a line to dry. These mats seem almost indestructible and if I ever need another one I will purchase the earth-friendly Jade.
